Installation & Bolt-Down
Bolted down right the first time.
A safe that isn't anchored can be tipped, pried or carried out. I install and bolt down home, gun and business safes to the floor or wall, in the right spot, so they stay put.
Where the safe goes matters as much as how it's bolted.
When to call me
- You just bought a new safe
- Your safe is standing loose in a closet, basement or garage
- A safe needs to be re-anchored in a new spot
- A business needs a safe secured in an office or under a counter
How I handle it
Step 1: Choose the spot
I help you pick a spot that's discreet, easy to reach, and right for the floor.
Step 2: Check the floor
Concrete, wood and tile each need different anchors. I use the right hardware for what's there.
Step 3: Anchor and level
I bolt it down, level it so the door swings and closes right, and test the lock.
Step 4: Clean finish
I leave the space clean and show you how everything works.
Safes I work on
- Home safes
- Gun safes
- Fire safes

Questions about Installation & Bolt-Down
Should I bolt down my safe?
For most safes, yes. Anchoring makes a safe much harder to tip, pry or carry away.
Can you bolt a safe to a wood floor?
Yes. Wood, concrete and tile all work with the right anchors. I check what's under the floor before I drill.
Do you install safes I bought somewhere else?
Yes. If the safe is already at your place, I'll install and anchor it. If you haven't bought one yet, I can help you choose.
